To create a three dimensional antler, sew the sides together starting at the base. Make sure the right side is on the outside. (Fig. 1)
Then sew the first point closed. (Fig. 2)
To sew the second and third points closed, you will have to weave yarn through the antler to be in the correct position. When you finish the third point, you should end up in the middle. This means that you will be sewing from the outside edge and working towards the middle. Sew the middle closed. If there is enough yarn left for sewing the antler to the head, then weave it to the bottom. Otherwise, weave in yarn ends and trim. (Fig. 3)

Assemble Amigurumi Reindeer
Muzzle—embellish and attach. (The longer dimension of the muzzle should be oriented in a North/South direction.)
Embroider Nose and Mouth. Sew a triangle shaped nose using all 6 strands of dark red embroidery floss. Embroider mouth using all six strands of black embroidery floss.
Placement of muzzle should be centered between the two eyes and the top edge should be sewn into round six. Stuff the muzzle, sew it into place and weave in yarn end.
Stuff the muzzle, sew it into place and weave in yarn end.
Antlers—please refer back to the note in the antler instructions.
Placement of antler should be centered over stitches from the second and third round of the head. Sew into place. Second antler should mirror the first one attached. Weave in yarn ends and trim.
Ears—modify and sew into place. First, fold ears almost in half along the length. Second, sew the base of the ear together. Third, sew into place.
Placement of ears is next to the antlers—top edge attached to stitch in round four.
Head—sew head to top of body. Weave in yarn ends
Arms—the hdc stitches you worked in round ten act like the shoulder and should be at the top.
Placement of arms is just below where the head and body meet. There should be seven stitches between the arms—when the reindeer is facing you.
Legs—attach legs to the body.
Placement of legs is that the bottom edge of legs is sewn into round six of the body. Sew the bottom edge of the legs to round six of the body. There should be 8 sc between the bottom edge of the legs and 9 sc between the top edge.
