2-Hole Beads Cubic Right Angle Weave
Have you mastered the cubic right angle weave stitch (CRAW)? If the answer is yes, then you might want to add a new twist to your project, such as a beaded rope. Using a 2-hole beads like the Es-O Mini is a good way to do so. The basic concept it the same. You will need to create bead units with the same number/types of beads. However, the process for creating the units is a bit different for 2-hole beads.

2-Hole Beads Cubic Right Angle Weave Instructions

Pick up 1B, 1A, 1B, 1A, 1B, 1A, and 1B. Form a ring by passing through the same hole the thread was exiting at the start of this step.
Weave around and step up through the second hole of the next A bead from the second unit.
Unit 3
Pick up 1B, 1A, 1B, 1A, and 1B. Pass through the second hole of an A bead from unit 1. Complete the unit by picking up 1B and passing through the next A. Weave around and step up.
Unit 4
Pick up 1B and pass through the next A bead from unit one. Complete the unit by picking up 1B, 1A, 1B, 1A, and 1B. Form a ring by passing through the next A. Weave around and step up in preparation for the next unit.
Unit 5
Pick up 1B, 1A, and 1B. Pass through the next available A. Complete the unit by pick up 1B and passing through the next A.
Finish the cube and create the base for the next cube. Fill in the spaces between A beads with B. Pick up 1B and pass through the next A. Repeat a total of four times. Reinforce by passing through all the beads again. The image below shows the stitch work with both the 8/0 and 11/0 seed beads. The last unit worked at the top of the sample was done with the 11/0 so you could see what it looks like. I thought it would be easier for the reader to do the tutorial using the 8/0 seed beads.
