Yorkie Puppy Ornament — Version A

Yorkie Puppy Ornament — Version B
These Yorkie Puppy Christmas ornaments were inspired by my neighbor’s puppy. In order to create these ornaments I had to identify and simplify the characteristics of a short-haired Yorkie. The head shape is like a square with rounded corners. Whenever I think of the dog, I imagine their pink tongues hanging out. If you are interested in learning why this tends to be true for this breed, then click here. (While writing today’s post, I learned that Yorkies have hair and not fur.) Anyway, I had to try to figure out how to communicate their fluffiness using felt.
