What is the Masking Technique
Is a technique that creates depth in your card making. The image that you want to be in front gets masked. Masked means covered.
How do you do the technique?
First you decide which image you want to be in front. Second you stamp the image on your paper. Third you create a mask. This is done by stamping the same image on a Post-it note. Make sure you stamp part of the image over the tacky area. Then you cut the image out. You should cut slightly into the image. This will help prevent ghosting. Ghosting is white space around the image. Fourth you place the mask over the image. Fifth you stamp the image you want to be in the background over the masked image.
