Mixed Media Leprechaun a Budget and Time Friendly Option for Your St. Patrick’s Day Card
This mixed media Leprechaun card is a follow up to the post on the free DIY St. Patrick’s Day Leprechaun project. (The pattern and instructions are in the previous post. You can adapt it based on your mixed media substitutions.)
The purpose to this post is to demonstrate how applying a mixed media approach to your card making can save money and time. Not having all the materials on hand for a project you might like to make doesn’t have to result in a trip to a store. Instead of buying the missing material, you could take look at your craft materials. See if you have materials that you could use as substitutes. Perhaps you have a stash of fabric and not much in paper. Then you could adapt the project using felt like the card to the left.
Or, perhaps your stash is 50/50, then you could make card like the one to the right.
