These polymer clay peony flower earrings were inspired by love of peony flowers plus my desire to try some new products.
Peony flowers are native to Asia, Europe and Western North America. They have compound and deeply lobed leaves. This means that there are deep indents along the outside edge of the leave. They often have fragrant flowers. Their color ranges from purple red to white or yellow. Peonies bloom in late spring and early summer.
The new products I wanted to try came from
The ColorBox® Molding Mats are an easy way to add a design or a texture to polymer clay. To learn more about the product click here. Designer foils were used to add the gold color. Click here to learn more about it.
The step-by-step instructions for these earrings can be found in the October 2012 issue of PolymerCAFE.
