This Patchwork Easter Card is part of series that will include tips on money saving and on design. This first card project includes a money saving tip. To get more mileage out of the Easter stamps owned, we used a tool to create the background. The foam molding tool made it possible to create a stamp of just one egg from the main image shown here.
Materials
Cardstock—White, Lilac and Black
Clearsnap Stylus Tips 3-Pack—Large Square Moldable Black Foam Tips
ColorBox Fluid Chalk Ink—Ice Blue, Lime Pastel, Orchid Pastel
ColorBox Pigment Ink—Canary Yellow, Heliotrope
Vivid! Dye Ink Black
Stampendous® Chick Ears Perfectly Clear™ Stamps
Aleene’s® Original Tacky Glue®
Instructions
- Cut card components. The folded dimensions of the card are 5 1/2″ X 4 1/4″
- Create a stamp of just the center egg from the image shown above. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for using moldable black foam tip.
- Stamp egg patchwork background on the white card panel using the different colors.
- Stamp Easter Chick and sentiments in black.
- Assemble card.
