Cabochon Heart Necklace is made out of Polymer Clay. Polymer Clay is a man-made modeling product. It is similar to earth clay in that it can be shaped and molded into almost any form. Unlike earth clay it is produced in a range of colors and can be mixed to create a custom palette. Another difference is that it does not require the same high temperatures as earth clay to cure. It can be cured (being brought into a permanent state) at a low temperature (275 to 300 F). This project appears in the October 2010 issue of PolymerCAFE magazine.
