Assemble
1. Ears—prior to attaching to the head sew bottom edge closed. Sew back and forth through the loops along the outside edge. Pull the yarn until you get the desired amount of curve in the ear. Attach ears to head—identify the center point (an imaginary line that goes East-West) at the top of the head. Count three holes out from the center of the head. (The concave side of the ear should be facing you.) Place the ear hear and sew into place. Attach the second ear.
2. Legs—don’t stuff the feet. Just lightly stuff the legs. Sew legs into place. Weave in yarn ends and trim.
Usage note: This pattern is for personal usage. If it were used for a charitable reason, Bella said that would be okay. Here are some examples:

- to give a gift to children who are living at a homeless shelter
- According to the NYC government’s site “In recent years, homelessness in New York City has reached the highest levels since the Great Depression of the 1930s.”
