Free Ferret Birthday Card Project

Ferret Birthday Card

Today’s post is on how to make this ferret happy birthday card.

About the Card Making Technique—Masking

I made the background for this free ferret birthday card using the rubber stamp masking technique. The result of applying the masking technique is that you can stamp multiple images without overlapping and create a sense of depth.

How to Mask

Here is how to create  an image mask.  Stamp the images you want to use on Post-it® Notes, making sure that part of the image is over the adhesive strip. Cut the images out going slightly into the image to avoid ghosting.

Tip: to save time cut out images from multiple sheets. Stamp image on cardstock. Cover image with a mask. Then continue to stamp and cover the image with a mask.
